Fillings
Whether you need a filling for a back tooth or a replacement for a lost tooth, we can restore your teeth to look and function just like natural ones. We offer a variety of treatments with different levels of restoration, ensuring your smile stays complete and functional.
A large number of people in the UK have had dental fillings, making it a common treatment for cavities or minor damage.
At Camden Practice, we use composite fillings to restore teeth. This resin material, made from a blend of plastic and glass, is highly durable and can be colour-matched to your natural tooth, providing a seamless and natural-looking restoration.
Since the composite is applied directly to the tooth, there’s no need to remove healthy tooth structure. Additionally, the filling enhances the overall strength of the tooth.
Crown
For teeth with extensive damage that can’t be repaired with a filling, we use crowns.
Crowns are also ideal for restoring front teeth. Made from porcelain or ceramic, crowns act as protective caps that cover the entire tooth for a full restoration. To ensure the crown fits properly, a small portion of the damaged tooth must be removed.
Bridges
We can replace a single missing tooth with a bridge that is supported by the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. To secure the bridge, a small amount of enamel is removed from the abutment teeth, which are then fitted with crowns to hold the replacement tooth in place. The result is a seamless, natural-looking restoration that fills the gap and restores your confidence.
