Achieve optimal function and appearance with orthodontics. Through teeth straightening treatment, we apply gentle, gradual forces to move your teeth into a more aligned position, improving both aesthetics and function. A properly aligned bite helps prevent ongoing jaw problems and tooth wear. Orthodontics not only enhances the appearance of your smile but also contributes to better overall oral health.

Straightening your smile with Invisalign

Invisalign

We are Clear Align providers. If you’re looking for a straighter smile but are concerned about the appearance of traditional braces, Invisalign offers a discreet solution that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Invisalign uses clear, custom aligners that gently shift your teeth into a more aligned position. The treatment involves a series of aligners, each one moving your teeth a little at a time, and once each set has done its job, it’s replaced with the next one in the series.

Cases That Invisalign Can Treat

Gapped Teeth
Crossbite
Underbite
Open Bite
Overcrowding
Deepbite
  • Overcrowded teeth occur when there is a lack of room within your jaw for all of your teeth to fit normally, Invisalign braces can move the teeth into a better position.
  • Gapped teeth occur when you have extra space within your jaw. Invisalign will help to close these gaps in the teeth.
  • Cross bites occur when the upper and lower jaws are both misaligned. It usually causes one or more upper teeth to bite on the inside of the lower teeth, and can happen on both the front and/or the sides of the mouth. By having Invisalign clear braces, patients can move the position of the jaw as well as the teeth.
  • Deep bites occur when the upper teeth overlap significantly with the lower teeth, which can be resolved by using this type of treatment.
  • Under bites occur when the lower teeth protrude past the front teeth, usually caused by undergrowth of the upper jaw, overgrowth of the lower jaw, or both.

What is the treatment process?

We begin by taking scans of your teeth and mouth with our 3D scanner. These digital impressions allow us to display your current smile on the chairside monitor, and with the help of scanning software, we can even preview how your smile will look after treatment.

The scans are then sent to the lab to create your custom aligners. Once we receive them, we’ll invite you back for the fitting. The number of aligner sets you’ll need depends on how much movement is required to achieve your desired result. We’ll guide you through the sequence of aligners, when to switch to the next set, and how to keep your teeth clean throughout the treatment.

Once your teeth have reached their final position, we’ll take new impressions to create your retainer.

How long will my smile remain straight?

Your teeth will remain straight as long as you wear your retainer. After orthodontic treatment, teeth can shift back to their original position without retention. Retainers are custom-made using impressions of your newly aligned teeth. For the first few months, you’ll need to wear your retainer at night to allow your teeth to fully stabilise.

As we age, our teeth naturally tend to shift. Wearing your retainer regularly can help prevent this movement and maintain your straight smile for much longer.
